2018 Football Championship Game and Season
The Sun Belt Conference will conduct its inaugural Football Championship Game on December 1, 2018 and the game will air on ABC, ESPN, or ESPN2. The game will feature the winners of the Sun Belt’s two divisions and will take place at the home site of the Divisional Champion with the best overall conference winning percentage.

The Sun Belt’s new divisional structure:

East Division:
Appalachian State
Coastal Carolina
Georgia Southern
Georgia State
Troy

West Division:
Arkansas State
Louisiana
ULM
South Alabama
Texas State

Sun Belt Conference Bowl Success
During the last two seasons, the Sun Belt tied its record for wins in the postseason with four wins in both 2016 and 2017.
