Last weekend saw the climax of the 2017/18 Premier League season, with Manchester City being crowned deserved champions.
There were also a number of individual awards handed including PFA Player of the Year - which was won by Liverpool's Mohamed Salah.
His impressive haul of 32 league goals was one of many reasons that made him the deserving recipient of the prize.
But what about the players who have to defend the goal?
Kyle Walker, Nicolas Otamendi, Jan Vertonghen and Marcos Alonso were the defenders who made the prestigious PFA Team of the Year, but these stats suggests there were other players who deserve more credit than they got.
