Swansea City have signed Kristian Pedersen and are aiming to closing in on deadline-day deals for Jamal Lowe, Bashir Humphreys and Josh Tymon.
Defender Pedersen, 29, arrives from Cologne on a two-year deal, while Swansea have agreed a fee of about £2m for Stoke City's Tymon, 24.
Centre-back Humphreys, 20, is close to signing on a season-long loan from Chelsea despite interest from Stoke.
Lowe, 29, is expected to rejoin Swansea on loan until January from Bournemouth.
Tymon will be a long-awaited replacement at left-wingback for Ryan Manning, who departed at the end of last season after failing to agree a new contract.
