Stoke City have made their ninth summer signing by bringing in Leicester City's Republic of Ireland international striker Tom Cannon on a season- long loan.
Cannon, 21, who joined Leicester last September, scored three times in 16 appearances last season after his arrival from Everton, as well as netting eight goals in 20 games on loan at Preston North End in the second half of the 2022-23 campaign.
“It’s no exaggeration to say that most clubs in the Championship wanted to sign Tom this summer," said Stoke sporting director Jonathan Walters.
"It’s a huge vote of confidence that he has opted for Stoke City.
