Stoke have sacked manager Gary Rowett after just eight months in charge following a poor start to their Championship campaign.
The Potters, who were relegated from the Premier League last year, sit 14th in English football's second tier – eight points adrift of the play-off spots.
The club announced in a statement that the appointment of a new manager will be made 'as swiftly as possible', while Rory Delap, Kevin Russell and Andy Quy will take charge of first-team affairs in the meantime.
