Stoke manager Mark Hughes believes emotion was a factor in the sacking of Craig Shakespeare.
Leicester dismissed Shakespeare eight Premier League games into a three-year contract and Hughes thinks influences other than cold logic were at play.
Shakespeare had been at Leicester in two spells since 2008, mainly as an assistant, and built up a respected and well-liked reputation at the club.

But Leicester's Thai owners acted with the team winning once in the Premier League this season to sit in the relegation places.
