Stoke defender Bruno Martins Indi insists he is against the introduction of VAR despite falling foul to a controversial penalty decision against Arsenal.
The Holland defender gave away a vital penalty at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday, referee Craig Pawson ruling the central defender had fouled Mesut Ozil in the box. Pierre Emerick-Aubmeyang dispatched the penalty to put Arsenal 1-0 ahead.
But replays showed that Martins Indi touched the ball first in the incident. If VAR was in use for the game, the decision to award a penalty is likely to have been overturned.
Nevertheless, Martins Indi said: 'He makes the wrong decision and we get punished by that.
