Ibrahim Afellay has been told to stay away from Stoke City by manager Paul Lambert, according to reports.
The midfielder has not played for the Potters since the 5-0 defeat by Chelsea on December 30.
He has not featured at all under new boss Lambert, who has not been happy with his performances in training as Stoke fight for Premier League survival.
Afellay signed a new contract last March until the end of next season after recovering from a serious knee injury, but he has made only six Premier League appearances this campaign.
