Stoke City flop Giannelli Imbula has agreed personal terms with AS Monaco, according to reports in France.
The 24-year-old became Stoke's record transfer in February 2016 when they paid £18m to land him from Porto.
However, he has struggled to live up to the price tag and started just nine Premier League games in the whole of last season.
Now a move away seems very likely with French champions Monaco keen on landing him however their initial loan offer was turned down.
The two clubs are still negotiating about a potential move but, meanwhile, Imbula has agreed personal terms with Monaco, according to L'Equipe.
