Stoke City are looking at Watford defender Ben Wilmot as a replacement for Burnley-bound Nathan Collins.
The Championship club have agreed a £12million fee with Burnley for 20-year-old Collins though discussions continue about add-ons.
It would be the first major signing at Burnley under new owner Alan Pace and their biggest deal since signing Ben Gibson from Middlesbrough.

Stoke boss Michael O'Neill would like 21-year-old Wilmot to fill the gap. Wilmot played 27 times for The Hornets last season but is unlikely to feature as much in the Premier League following their promotion.
