Nick Powell rescued a point for Stoke City with a late equaliser in a drab home match with Birmingham City.
Powell met Tyrese Campbell's low cross and his effort deflected off Harlee Dean before trickling over the line.
Dean had put Blues in front with their first attempt on target, leaping highest to power Maxime Colin's corner into the top corner.
Steven Fletcher came closest to breaking the deadlock for Stoke in the first half when his free-kick struck a post.
The two sides had managed just three goals between them from their opening three league games, but both boasted miserly defences, and predictably, clear chances were few and far between in a cautious match.
