Stoke City 0-4 Tottenham Hotspur: Son Heung-min grabs a brace while England stars Dele Alli and Harry Kane get off the mark as Spurs complete away rout

In his programme notes, Stoke City boss Mark Hughes bemoaned the performance of officials following a controversial penalty which saw his side go down 1-0 at Everton.

His next lot should make for interesting reading after the Welshman was sent off for protesting a yellow card – and then saw his bottom-of-the-table side thumped 4-0 by a rampant Tottenham Hotspur.

The game was scoreless even when Hughes was dismissed, but his departure sparked a worrying collapse.
