Wilfried Bony came back to haunt his former side as his brace helped Stoke to victory.
Bony, a hero at Swansea following his impressive spell at the Liberty Stadium, opened the scoring in just the third minute and completed the victory for Mark Hughes' side after the break.
Wayne Routledge had cancelled out Bony's first but an Alfie Mawson own goal and another from the Ivorian sent the visitors back to south Wales with nothing to show for their efforts.
