Stoke 1-4 Manchester City: Sergio Aguero propels Pep Guardiola's side to victory with two goals in eight first-half minutes as Nolito adds two more

Sergio Aguero continued his fine start to the season by scoring twice to lead Manchester City to a hard fought victory against Stoke at the Britannia Stadium.

Aguero scored two in eight minutes in the first half. He dispatched a penalty confidently, after Nicolas Otamendi was fouled by Ryan Shawcross, before heading in a searching free-kick by Kevin de Bruyne.

Stoke pulled a goal back early in the second half through a Bojan Krkic penalty, but they were unable to find an equaliser. Nolito added City's third in the 86th minute.
