Salford City have agreed a two-year deal for defender Tom Edwards following his departure from Stoke City.
The 25-year-old came through the youth set-up at the Potters and made 51 appearances for the club.
The right-back had several loan spells during his time at Stoke, including Barnsley, Huddersfield and a spell in the MLS with New York Red Bulls.
“I want to be very successful as an individual, but also as a team. I know how much ambition this club has and I want to move forward whilst I am here," he told the Salford website.
