RB Leipzig 1-2 Stoke City: Mame Diouf strike and Marvin Compper's own goal secures victory in final pre-season friendly for the Potters

Stoke City wrapped up their pre-season campaign with a morale-boosting victory over last season's Bundesliga runners-up.

RB Leipzig grabbed an early lead when Emil Fosberg was brought down by goalkeeper Jack Butland in the penalty area and the winger dusted himself down to convert from the spot in the fourth minute.

Stoke levelled two minutes before the break when Mame Diouf flicked in a Xherdan Shaqiri corner to give the Potters a deserved equaliser.
