Peter Crouch was among the Stoke stars pictured enjoying a pint of Guinness at Cheltenham on Wednesday, as Mark Hughes gifted his players a well-earned day off.
The Potters face league leaders Chelsea on Saturday, but with his side in the relative safety of mid-table, manager Hughes was happy to let his players unwind.
Crouch and Glen Johnson were two of the players spotted with a beer, as they and their team-mates watched the racing from a balcony at the course.
Spirits seemed high among the players, who are likely to have had a flutter, as they laughed and joked in the Gloucestershire sunshine.
