Nottingham Forest have pulled off a transfer deadline day double by signing striker Sam Surridge and England Under-21 defender Jonathan Panzo.
Forest beat Cardiff City to capture the signature of Stoke City's Sam Surridge, 23, for an undisclosed fee.
They then added defender Panzo from French Ligue 2 side Dijon, on a three-and-a-half-year contract.
Forest moved for Surridge after fellow forward Lewis Grabban got injured in Sunday's defeat at Cardiff.
Cardiff had been looking to sign Surridge on loan for the rest of the season - to bolster their attacking resources after agreeing a deal to sell Wales striker Kieffer Moore to Bournemouth.
