Nathan Jones is ‘INSECURE' and 'clearly' didn't learn from his sacking at Stoke when he 'kept talking about what he did at Luton', blasts Ashley Williams, as he insists he's not surprised by his former manager's short reign at Southampton

Ashley Williams has revealed that he isn't surprised that Nathan Jones struggled as Southampton manager.

Jones was sacked by Southampton on Sunday after just 14 games in charge of the club.

Williams was on loan at Stoke in 2019 when Jones was in charge and doesn't have fond memories of his time working under him.

According to Williams, Jones struggled to impose his own philosophy at Stoke and appeared afraid to issue instructions to senior players.

Williams says the Stoke squad were left baffled by the fact that Jones didn't tell them how to play and described him as 'insecure'.
