Liverpool target Naby Keita is to hold further talks with his club Red Bull Leipzig this week after they re-iterated their stance to keep him this summer.
The Guinea international midfielder is understood to be keen on a move to Anfield now rather than wait until next summer when his release clause comes into play.
Leipzig sporting director Ralf Rangnick said: 'We will definitely not be letting any key players go. There's nothing that will make us budge.'
Liverpool want a defensive midfielder, centre-back and left-back with Virgil van Dijk and Hull's Andrew Robertson among the options.
