The toxic row between Stoke and West Bromwich Albion over Saido Berahino's drugs ban took a bizarre turn when Tony Pulis was accused of labelling Ryan Shawcross a 'loser' in a voicemail message.
Stoke boss Mark Hughes claimed Pulis rang Shawcross on Monday morning after the Stoke captain suggested West Brom had leaked details of Berahino's positive test to cause disruption before the sides met at the Hawthorns.
West Brom beat Stoke 1-0 after Sportsmail revealed details of Berahino's eight-week suspension for testing positive for a recreational drug out of competition.
Hughes was livid after the game and suggested West Brom played a part in the timing of the story, a theory followed up by Shawcross, who Pulis signed for Stoke in 2008 and made captain two years later.
