Mame Diouf shines until Hughes' needless sub sparks Cherries' fightback

It took over 10 hours of football but Stoke finally broke their goalless run away from home in Saturday's 2-2 draw at Bournemouth.

The opening exchanges bore all the hallmarks of an end of season fixture with neither side exhibiting any real levels of urgency or desire. That was soon to change, though, courtesy of a horrendous challenge from Harry Arter on Joe Allen which should have seen the Bournemouth man sent off but instead he escaped with just a caution.

Stoke went ahead via the head of Lys Mousset, who nodded a teasing Marko Arnautovic corner into his own net.
