Liverpool 4-1 Stoke City: Reds romp to victory over Potters despite early scare

Liverpool came from a goal down against Stoke City, romping to a 4-1 victory at Anfield and putting them back in second place in the Premier League table.

Jonathan Walters’ goal, and tactics, gave the Reds a scare early on, but once the Reds got to grips with the game they hit back superbly.

Adam Lallana, Roberto Firmino and a Giannelli Imbula own goal put Jurgen Klopp’s side in charge before Daniel Sturridge entered the fray and slotted home to confirm the win on home soil.

Liverpool were dominant in the opening minutes of the clash on Merseyside with Sadio Mane looking lively, along with Roberto Firmino, who saw Lee Grant save his header.
