John Eustace has emerged as a potential candidate to succeed Jon Dahl Tomasson as talks continue today over the Blackburn Rovers manager’s position.
Mail Sport revealed yesterday that Tomasson was expected to leave his role amid growing frustration at the Championship club.
Blackburn will try to resolve the issue today but are mindful Tomasson's assistant Remy Reijnierse will also want to follow his manager so want to have a replacement primed to lead the team into this weekend's crucial game with Stoke City.
Eustace is available, though he is also under consideration at Huddersfield Town, and would have good knowledge of the Championship following his work at Birmingham City.
