Stoke came away with their first point from Old Trafford in 36 years with a 1-1 draw against Manchester United that quite possibly marks a turning point in their season's fortunes. The Potters were under the cosh for most of the match and owed much of their result to goalkeeper Lee Grant, but their determination to get back into the game having gone behind so late on was a credit to their much-improved attitude and performance.
Positives
To come away with anything from Old Trafford is a bonus, but the way the side defended as a unit will give Mark Hughes huge comfort in a season where they have struggled to work in tandem on the back foot.
