Stoke and England goalkeeper Jack Butland has revealed he will undergo surgery next week on his injured ankle.
Butland is yet to play this season having sustained an injury in training with the Potters last month to the same ankle he broke while on international duty in March.
Reports have suggested he could be facing another two months out of action.
Butland wrote on Twitter on Friday: "A little update on the injury! I'll be having a minor operation on Monday to resolve my current ankle issue!
