Gary Rowett pledges future to Derby with new contract until 2021, ruling out move to managerless Stoke

Gary Rowett has committed his future to Derby with a fresh contract, ending speculation him linking him with the vacant managerial position at Stoke.

The former Birmingham boss has led the Rams to second place in the Championship and is eager to continue his work, putting pen to paper on an extension until 2021.

'The thinking was that originally this is the job that I wanted out of all the jobs out there,' Rowett told Rams TV.
