Dean Holden, former caretaker boss of Stoke City, has emerged as a candidate to become the next manager of Exeter City.
The League One side are looking for a new boss after Matt Taylor left to take over at Rotherham United.
The 43-year old Holden is forging a reputation as a bright thinking coach after spells with Oldham Athletic, Bristol City and Stoke.
