Stoke City and Plymouth Argyle have been charged by the Football Association after four yellow cards were handed out in an altercation between players during the Potters' 3-0 Championship win on Saturday.
Two players from each side were booked in the 35th minute with the game still goalless.
The incident was sparked by a coming-together between Stoke's Million Manhoef and Argyle goalkeeper Michael Cooper, after which it is alleged that "both clubs failed to ensure their players don't behave in an improper and/or provocative way".
Stoke's Ki-Jana Hoever and Tyrese Campbell were shown yellow cards, as were Plymouth's Cooper and Bali Mumba.
