Charlie Adam: Scotland boss Gordon Strachan not picking best players

Charlie Adam has told the BBC he does not believe Scotland boss Gordon Strachan is picking his best players after he was left out of the squad ahead of Friday's World Cup qualifier against England.

Adam, 30, has not featured for Scotland since June last year and was left out of the 25-man squad for the upcoming game at Wembley despite returning to the Stoke City starting lineup and earning praise from club manager Mark Hughes.

"He will probably say I've not played enough games but I disagree," Adam told BBC Radio 5 live's "Monday Night Club" programme.
