Tom Ince and Sam Surridge fired Stoke City into the Carabao Cup third round at the expense of Doncaster Rovers.
Ince gave Stoke the lead six minutes before half-time, being the quickest to react after a Louis Jones save.
Just three minutes into the second half, Surridge doubled the lead, finishing off an Alfie Doughty cross into the bottom right corner.
Stoke wasted several chances to extend their lead as they dominated their League One visitors.
After Morgan Fox shot from 25 yards in the 38th minute, Ince reacted first to Jones' failure to handle the strike.
