The Senior Bowl is the most important postseason college All-Star game, in large part because if a player is selected for the game, it means the NFL is officially curious about him.
The Senior Bowl executive director is Phil Savage, former director of college scouting and director of player personnel with the Baltimore Ravens, as well as former GM of the Cleveland Browns. The game's North and South teams are coached for a week by the coaching staffs of two NFL teams.
So if your team has a bunch of players on the Senior Bowl's 400-man watch list -- there are 110 roster spots -- it's probably a good thing, for fans and players.
