First: #17 Washington (10-2 / 7-2 PAC-12) crushed the dreams of their arch-rival #13 Washington State (9-3 / 6-3 PAC-12) 41-14 in The Apple Cup Saturday evening in Seattle, which in turn gave the PAC-12 North title to Stanford. This being ‘The Twelver’ and all, I must say that this season has likely caused Husky and Cougar fans to do quite a bit of drinking.
Second: Chris Petersen and Mike Leach are left wondering what could have been this season, had their respective teams each not suffered one bizarre loss (ASU & CAL) that nobody saw coming.
