Stanford Cardinal running back Christian McCaffrey got snubbed for the Heisman Trophy, so he has a little extra motivation to continue proving he's the nation's most electric player against the Iowa Buckeyes in the Rose Bowl on Friday.
And so he did -- on the first play of the game, McCaffrey caught a short pass and quickly turned it into a 75-yard touchdown pass to give the Cardinal a 7-0 lead early:
During the regular season, McCraffrey's 3,496 total yards broke the 27-year-old record originally set by Oklahoma State running back Barry Sanders, despite needing six fewer touches to do so.
