The Stanford men's basketball team had a bad day in Berkeley
Despite defeating Cal earlier in the season, Saturday was a tough day for Stanford basketball, who lost to Cal 76-61. After Stanford got to a 6-0 lead early, Cal was able to tie it up and never look back. All game, Cal ran the floor with five players scoring in the double digits, and Cal's Jordan Matthews led all scorers with eighteen. Meanwhile, Rosco Allen led the Stanford players with sixteen points and was only one of two Cardinal to reach double digits. Stanford's biggest struggle today was shooting.
