Andrew Ekmark is a 6-foot-2 point guard from Paradise Valley, Arizona. He has found his way onto the Stanford basketball squad after an impressive high school career.
Ekmark’s Phoenix Country Day team went undefeated with him at the helm during his senior season. During that campaign, Ekmark averaged 24.9 points, 5.8 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 2.0 steals. That’s pretty darn impressive.
His highlight game featured Ekmark scoring 49 points in a contest that went into overtime. His team needed all 49 of them as they overcame a 20-point deficit to get the victory.
He was originally offered a spot on the Stanford roster by Johnny Dawkins.
