Reggie Bush says Stanford's Christian McCaffrey should win the Heisman

Former USC running back Reggie Bush can no longer vote for the Heisman Trophy, but if he could he would have Stanford's Christian McCaffrey at the top of his ballot.

“In my mind, he’s the best player,” Bush told Stanford's official athletics website. “And he’s only a sophomore, which is scary.”

Bush, now with the San Francisco 49ers, saw McCaffrey up close in the Pac-12 championship, where he was on hand as part of the Pac-12's ceremony to honor its All-Century team. The Stanford sophomore, who wears No. 5 because that's what Bush wore at USC, turned in a very Bush-like performance, accounting for 461 all-purpose yards in a 41-22 win against the Trojans.
