Stanford sported the No. 1 red zone offense in the country during Andrew Luck's final season on campus, but at one point last year, the Cardinal had tumbled all the way down to No. 121 nationally in red zone touchdown efficiency.
It was a glaring problem, and perhaps the driving reason behind Stanford's disappointing five-loss 2014 campaign.
Then came the season's final three games, when everything changed.
"We started playing better as an offensive line, and everything came together," offensive coordinator Mike Bloomgren said. "Skill positions started producing, Kevin [Hogan] became unbelievable. It's nice when everything clicks.
