1. College Football Playoff semifinal at the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl: Washington vs. Alabama
Pac-12 fans have longed to see the best of their league take on the best of the SEC for a long time now. The last opportunity came in the 2011 BCS championship game, when Auburn edged Oregon. In the seasons since, Stanford went to three Rose Bowls and the Ducks played Florida State and Ohio State in the playoff, so that prime SEC matchup hasn't happened. And the Alabama-USC 2016 season opener comes with an asterisk, as the Trojans certainly hadn't yet blossomed into a force to be reckoned with.
