Quenton Meeks declares for 2018 NFL Draft

Stanford cornerback Quenton Meeks declared for the NFL Draft, passing up his final year of eligibility to make the leap to the pros.

Meeks declared the move on Twitter:

I am making the decision to forgo my senior year and enter the NFL Draft. God has blessed me with the opportunity to achieve my lifelong dream. pic.twitter.com/slBxaaarYa

Meeks was a second-team All-Pac-12 player this season, racking up 65 tackles, two interceptions and eight pass breakups.

Meeks is the third member of Stanford’s defense to leave early for the NFL, joining Justin Reid and Harrison Phillips.
