Quarterback recruiting is far from settled in the Pac-12, as only a handful of teams are set at the position and programs are chasing a number of prospects in the 2017 class. Here is a look at how the position is shaping up in the Pac-12 North.
Cal signed two top-30 dual-threat quarterbacks in the 2016 class, though Max Gilliam will stay at the position while Victor Viramontes could play a number of other positions, so there is definitely a need for a quarterback in this class. Myles Brennan holds a Cal offer and the Golden Bears hope the work they’ve done in Mississippi, along with assistant coach Jacob Peeler’s connections there, can work to bring Brennan across the country.
