Spring has officially sprung (though they might argue with me about that in parts of the Midwest and Northeast) and in a large chunk of the college football world, it has already expired.
On Saturday a large swath of teams wrapped up their spring practices with their annual spring games. It feels like over the last few years the practice of such practices has come under a bit of fire. Teams that entered March with big depth chart questions typically leave April with those questions unresolved. The superstars we'll be talking about this fall seem to be receiving increasingly fewer reps in the spring, in the name of saving their tires and sidestepping injuries.
