Samuel from Boise, Idaho, writes: Let's look at the only scheduling aspect that the schools have control over -- the nonconference games. Washington: Rutgers, Idaho, and Portland State. Texas A&M: UCLA, Prairie View A&M, New Mexico State, and Texas-San Antonio. Tabling the UCLA game (I'll get there), can we call the strength of the other three nonconference games a wash? They're all meaningless wins in the eyes of the committee.
