I attended the entirety of both games this week and came away with two losses. Maybe, I’m bad luck for Stanford, but I doubt it. In both games, the Cardinal fought hard without their best player, Reid Travis, but were ultimately outmatched. Stanford never really stood a chance against USC and UCLA.
On Thursday night, I was driving over to the Galen Center expecting a close game, but on the way over, I got the news that Reid Travis was out indefinitely with a shoulder injury. I then texted my USC buddy going to the game, “Stanford has no chance.
