Josh Sharma had a career night in the Cardinal’s victory over Long Beach State, and it didn’t go without notice. The media named him conference Player of the Week, the first in his career.
The senior center came off the bench against LBSU and dominated the smaller 49er squad to the tune of 23 points and 18 rebounds. His previous career highs in those categories were 15 and 9, respectively.
Sharma is the second Stanford player to win the award this season, as KZ Okpala nabbed the honor in the opening week.
