The first three games were in some respects just a prelude, but the business end of the Stanford Cardinal’s season is truly here, as they are set to face the University of Louisville in the Elite Eight on Tuesday evening.
No. 1 seed Stanford takes on No. 2 seed Louisville, who are certain to not be pushovers in the 2021 NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament. Ranked No. 1 nationally back in December, for the first time in program history, the Cardinals won the ACC regular season title and lost to NC State in the ACC tournament final.
