Who will be the top candidates for 2016?
Zac Ellis of Sports Illustrated offered up the first of what will no doubt be many, many lists like this over the course of the next few months. As Ellis notes, Alabama running back Derrick Henry snagged the award away from the quarterbacks this year. And it’s looking like the trend could continue in 2016. To no one’s surprise, a pair of Pac-12 running backs are on his list.
