Alabama running back Derrick Henry has won the 2015 Heisman Trophy, beating out Stanford Cardinal running back Christian McCaffrey and Clemson quarterback Deshaun Watson for the most prestigious individual award in college football.
Derrick Henry had also won both the Doak Walker Award for best running back and the Maxwell Award for most outstanding player. Additionally, most of the experts predicted Alabama running back Derrick Henry to win. Christian McCaffrey joins Andrew Luck and Toby Gerhart in the Stanford Heisman runner-up club, or perhaps the Stanford Heisman snub club would be more appropriate.
