Stanford football coach David Shaw addressed the media following Stanford’s crushing win over the Oregon Ducks Saturday afternoon. Shaw said that the plan was to give quarterback Keller Chryst a couple of games to get comfortable and allow the offense to establish the run before balancing the offense with more passing. According to Shaw, Chryst was much more comfortable this game and he thought Chryst threw the ball very well on Saturday. After several great weeks of practice it was evident to Shaw that if Chryst gets comfortable he can move the ball through the air. To that end Shaw challenged the offensive line to step up and allow Chryst time to get comfortable.
