The Stanford Cardinal will be without two starting wide receivers against the Oeregon State Beavers on Saturday after Michael Wilson and Connor Wedington will miss the game due to undisclosed injuries. Head coach David Shaw confirmed the shortage of players on Tuesday from Corvallis, Oregon as the team is practicing ahead of the game against the Beavers.
Wilson leads the team with 19 catches for 255 yards and has one of the team’s three receiving touchdowns this season while Wedington has recorded 15 catches for 157 yards. Between the two of them, they currently consist of 46 targets of the team’s 136 pass attempts.
